We are proud to offer options for making your teeth whiter. Custom–fit bleach trays can be made for home use with an office-strength whitening gel. For those who prefer a more immediate result, we have an in-office option that uses the latest laser-whitening technique that provides several shades of whitening within a few hours, and includes custom-fit trays to take home for long-term maintenance.

Veneers can easily create a great smile when a tooth is crooked, stained, worn or uneven. Veneers are thin strips of porcelain that are custom shaped and colored, then bonded to the prepared surface of the bothersome tooth.

Inlays are custom-made fillings used to repair teeth that have large defects from decay or trauma. Inlays can be made from composite material, porcelain or gold and offer an alternative to fillings or crowns. After an impression of the damaged tooth is taken, it is used to build an inlay that has an exact fit. The finished inlay is then cemented into the tooth.

Onlays are basically the same as inlays with the exception that one or more of the tooth’s chewing cusps are also affected and need to be included in the restoration.

Color matching

We are meticulous in matching the color of a composite filling or crown to the tooth so that others don’t notice the repair. We use colored resins, blending if needed, to match exactly. For the most critical color matches such as front teeth crowns, we have the patient visit the technician fabricating the crown so that he or she can match every subtle characteristic.

Bonding is a process in which a thin layer of composite filling material is used to reshape, recontour or fill in defects of a tooth. It is also used to recolor a tooth or to hide color defects.

Teeth are routinely polished to a smooth shine at the end of check-ups. The hygienist applies a special paste and scrubs all the teeth with a slow-speed drill tipped with a soft latex-free rubber cup.
